Update on temp gauge redo

As promised in an earlier post I am reporting on my results in finding a modern replacement for the temperature sensor. Below are several pics of my findings. Please be aware this worked for me and I offer no guarantee. Also note that I had to mess with the calibration settings a bit to get everything to work. One pic shows the back of the gauge where these calibration gears are located. Cost was...$11.00 for the sensor, $1.91 for voltage regulator, a couple of bucks for the resistor and diode. Max. Current through the gauge was about 170mA. Also please note that my gauge is the old style (I think) as it sits at full cold instead of full hot with key off. There is some debate as to what's what on that subject.
