JACK M
I have a stack of C-body radiators in various conditions.Do you know the part number that is on the top tank? I will take a look.
keiser31
The 1967 "C" body 440 automatic w/heater has a 26" radiator with the part number 2785933 on top.The 1967 "C" body 440 automatic w/ac has a 26" radiator with the part number 2785931 on top. These are according to Galen Govier's "Chrysler Corporation Part and Casting Numbers" decoding book.If the opening is 22", use the radiator with the part number 2785945 on top (automatic w/heater).If the opening is 28", use the radiator with the part number 2785951 on top (automatic, high output alternator w/ac).Another 28" opening item w/automatic would be with the part number 2785952 on top. Unknown condition but looks pretty good.No luck on any of the other numbers.
keiser31
My book shows Jack's radiator number to be for a 1967 "C" body, 22"wide, 318, manual transmission item.
JACK M
I would bet it is the one from that 67 Fury wagon that had the 273, 3 on the tree in it then.It has been discussed that this car was never made, but I have it. Or whats left of it. (parts any one?)Thanks for your info John.
keiser31
I know that it has been said that the 273 did not come in a "C" body from the factory. This information is wrong as there have been MANY cases where they were used in the "C" body cars.
