Jon37
...GONE! The cars have been sold as a group. Just got the word.Just spotted this message at another forum. The guy has only 3 or 4 days to clear a lot of some derelict cars in San Jose, Calif., and has already contacted a couple junkyards. These cars are parts-only but they are uncommon:x2 '82 Volkswagon Van Camper (pop top)'51 Willy's Jeepster'49 triumph roadster'60 plymouth (Valiant) station wagonx2 '50 sunbeam'60 MGB (no motor or transmission)'59 Jaguar'61 fiat roadster '53 Caddy 4-door [note: looks like it has air cond.]'51 Riley (no engine or tranny)x2 '60s fiats (not sure exactly what year or model)He won't part them out. He wants to sell them as a group (or, I would assume he'd be okay with selling any of them, whole).here's a link to the message: http://www.classiccar.com/forum/discussion/164762/trying-to-unload-my-father039s-antique-carsThe guy placed a Craigslist ad a couple days ago but as of this morning it had been deleted, so possibly the cars are sold or gone to the junkyard already. The fellow did not post any contact information with his forum message, but I have posted a note asking him to do so.
