Hopefully he has more because I don't think one will be enough for me. ;)

He says he can make the one you want. Did you see the wooden pedal accessory package?? That part of the package comes with a disclaimer that says, "Slippery when wet".

All joking aside, I can see wheel failure and law suits in the future. The automakers have had bigger suits on lesser claims. I bet it will not hold up to a dead engine and no PS while trying to get out of harms way. Dandy Dave!

I think we're saying it's a bad idea from a liability standpoint, the same reasoning I use when refusing to cut and resew seat belts....

If your original wood pieces break there's no one to sue, in our ridiculously litigious society...

The way the old wheels were made is by no way comparable to the angular butt joints in this wheel as is the type of material. Looks to be made of Knotty pine. I believe most of the original wheels were made of a hardwood and atleast free of significant knots like the ones you can see here. I wonder how well the horn button works?
