17" Dodge wire wheels fitted to 35 car, what changes are needed??

I want to fit 6 X 17" wire wheels from an earlier car to a 1935 that presently has steel wheels; seems I might have to make changes to the brake drums/hubs so the wires seat properly, any expert advice please? I guess the sidemounts will be OK but the 4 wheels on the road concern me greatly. John

First off you didn't say that kind of car you have. But in general wheels from an earlier car of the same make will often times bolt right on.
