jim6346
Hi Everyone, Jim here. New to this site, and Buick's in general.I picked up two old Buicks yesterday, a 1940 and 1952. Both running and driving cars, but rough shape.I'm a little confused on the 52. The trim tag clearly lists a code 17 for paint, but there is no 17 on the color chips?I've attached a pic of the Trim Tag.Thanks,Jim
49_buick_super
The paint codes are listed in chassis or body manuals that cover the respective years. Don't have mine handy at the moment.Dan

Right now the car is green and black, and the dash and doors are also a light green...Thanks,Jim
