I have never seen an example of a 1931 DB DH6 door sill. Have any of you folks ever seen one? If so, got any photos of one??

I didn't thonk Dodge had door sills until the '32 DL model.

That was my understanding, but I have seen them on earlier cars and I wanted to verify that. Neither of my business coupes have holes for a sill.

My DL does have them, but they are nothing fancy, just black painted steel with a lip to hold the rubber mat or carpet.

No designs of any sort? I see them in your thread about the restoration of your car.

They may have been an option, but I have never seen any on a DH6. I see them listed in my DH6 parts list book.

Thanks for the photo, Phil. That's exactly what I was talking about. No designs, just the stamped lip to hold the carpet/rubber floor mat.
