HarryLime
I do not have the need, but where would one get solid rubber tires for an early truck. I see Ford TT trucks with solid tires and wonder if it's possible to purchase or even have made tires for such a vehicle. Any estimates or solid price information ? Thanks........ Rusty_OToole
I don't know but they still make solid tires for fork lift trucks. Maybe the manufacturer can remold or recap your old rims.In a pinch it might be possible to grind the surface smooth and glue on Bandag type truck tire retreads, suitably modified or cut to width.Either way it would be big $$$$ bucks but last a lifetime............... Later........................Or you could contact this guy, he found a lot of solid tires while cleaning out an old building.http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8975258 Edited September 17, 2013 by Rusty_OToole (see edit history)
