Guest soup
I have an old trailer that has been used until the past few years. It was made from desoto wheels and rear end. I was told it was from a 1929 or 1930 Desoto by an old mechanic. Can anyone help identify if that is the case?
CarlLaFong
What size are the wheels? They seem to be later than 29/
keiser31
They look like '32 caps to me.
Guest soup
That sounds like I am in the ballpark with the year. I was trying to decide what to do with it...was going to send to the wreckers, but then I thought that someone might be able to use these....what do you think? keiser31
The wheels and caps are worth keeping. Somebody in the DeSoto forum (farther down from the General Discussion section) may want them.
Guest soup
Thanks, that helps. I will most likely pull the wheels off and send the rest to peace if it is not useful to anyone.

Guest soup
Thanks, I will try that. It certainly would be a waste to send to the wreckers...it would be much better if someone could use it.
Dave Mellor NJ
Some Mopar guy might want the whole thing if it's usable.
Guest EMF-Owner
I could really use the axle shafts out of that rear end. I would take the entire rear end, but have no idea how I could get it from Canada to Illinois.
Guest soup
hmmm....not really sure how the shipping thing would work either. I will have to give that some thought.
