I have an old trailer that has been used until the past few years. It was made from desoto wheels and rear end. I was told it was from a 1929 or 1930 Desoto by an old mechanic. Can anyone help identify if that is the case?post-96482-143142192432_thumb.jpg

That sounds like I am in the ballpark with the year. I was trying to decide what to do with it...was going to send to the wreckers, but then I thought that someone might be able to use these....what do you think?

Thanks, that helps. I will most likely pull the wheels off and send the rest to peace if it is not useful to anyone.

I am sure that if you scroll down to the DeSoto section of the forum here that you will find someone who needs the whole rear end.

I could really use the axle shafts out of that rear end. I would take the entire rear end, but have no idea how I could get it from Canada to Illinois.
