HEADLIGHT BEZEL FOR WHAT CAR?

...apparently for a car with relatively small, fender-mounted lights. They look like they may fit a 1938 Ford Standard, like the one linked here wearing similar adapters.

COULD THEY BE OFF A PONTIAC? 1938 FORD STANDARD SEEMS TO HAVE TWO EXTRA LINES ON TOP OF THE BEZEL.

These sealed beam adapters turn up quite frequently as cars are returned to their original bulb behind glass equipment. They were made for any car with the oval shaped lights like 37-39 Fords(exc.39 deluxe which could use the 40 lights),39 Dodge, Chrysler and DeSotos, Hudsons Studies and others. The better ones incorporate a parking light which was necessary as most of those cars had it in with the headlight. They have very little value.
