Duplicating English license plate

I would like to recreate the tag (license plate) on a 1968 British (London) car. The car came with the black aluminum front license plate (about 4-3/4" x 20-1/2") but the characters are all gone. I do know the registration number but was unable to find a site that sold letters and numbers. The chap I communicate with in England tell me his two 1960 letters and numbers are made of plastic and riveted on the plate. Doesn't matter to me the composition of the letters. Either way I can't seem to find them. Any suggestions? Doug

I received my British license plate in the mail yesterday from Triple C motors. It is beautiful. I'm still not done admiring it. Thanks again Dave.
