Guest Corvanti
lots of stuff out there for the taillight. i used Quixx acrylic, but PlastX and others work fine - basically any plastic headlight cleaner. the most important thing is the prep and finishing. after getting the crud off with rubbing alcohol, i used 1000 grit wet sandpaper to start and then 2000 grit to finish - rinsed it a lot. i removed the quixx with a Mothers power ball after the wet sand.with rubber stripping, i also clean the crud with rubbing alcohol, then put a coat of "Permatex Electric Tune-up Grease" and leave it on overnight. then wipe it off the next day with a cotton cloth/rag.i've had good success with doing this, but there are many other products/procedures that others use. the only thing i wouldn't use on the weatherstripping rubber is a "armor-all" type product. Guest my3buicks
I had excellent results with Maguire's SCRATCH X for the tail light lens - I have used it on both my Reatta's now.
Guest llamalor2112
Maguire's Compound and then their Polish here. Follow up with a good wax to seal and they look great for as long as we've had the cars. And this stuff, einszett 914806 'Gummi Pflege Stift' Rubber Care Stick - 3.4 fl. oz : Amazon.com : AutomotiveWorks incredibly well on all your weather stripping/seals.
