Guest theblindman
I have a chime going in my 91TC. I was told it might be my ignition switch. I checked to see if lights were off and all is good in that dept. I took off air bag and I noticed a warning tag concerning a clock spring. What's that all about? Any advice? Even when the car is driven, the chime keeps going.
Guest My TC Toy
I have to replace my clockspring and have not gotten around to it yet. What does the warning tag say?
Guest theblindman
The tag mentions the clockspring screw in regard to the operation of the air bag.I took off the glove box and found where the chime is located and disconnected it.I then started the car up and checked all gauges and lights and all were functioning. Is it possible to find which color wire I can cut to disengage the ignition chime? I assume the other chimes on the wiring have their importance.
