Reata Rendezvous

Even though this year’s Reatta Rendezvous is being held in South Bend, IN. which is about an hour’s drive from where I live, circumstances prohibit me from attending. I am sure that a good time will be had by all, even in my absence. This is as it should be. Since the event is being held practically in my back yard, so to speak, I really don't find it necessary to travel to said event. Perhaps, in the future, the event will be held in a place a bit more exotic. I think I would feel better about making the trip and I'd like to think that it would be a much more enjoyable experience going to a place I've never been to, such as, say, East St. Louis. In any event...

To honor the day and to commemorate it, I've decided to mark this occasion by tearing the engine out of my '90.

I think this will help keep my mind off of missing out on the camaraderie and festivities and... wait... no… never mind.

If you do come by, I'll put you to work. I just can't have people milling around and getting in the way. (just ask my wife)

re. the "drinks". You'll have to bring your own as there's nothing here but water, coffee, soy milk and pop (soda, if you will). :rolleyes:

This may lead you to believe that I may have a drinking problem. Far from it.

What I do have is a quitting problem.

Dave,

I'd like to say yes but, I'll have to say no.

I already have enough trouble with these two hairball puking furballs.

I don't want to incite a riot or what ever kind of mayhem they may throw my way should I try to unseat them from what they consider their rightful positions.
