Guest Thunderbird67
Hi, I am having a very difficult time finding brake shoes for my 1949 Packard. They need to have a good amount of brake pad left on them and I can't find them, I have called junk yards in my state (Colorado) and looked at parts websites. Does anyone know of where I could find them?
misterc9
Try these www.maxmerrittauto.com or www.kanter.com They should have what you need. I have dealt with both for 48 Super 8 parts. Both were reliable.

I may know of a 22nd series Eight parts car in MI if things don't pan out. The 48-9 cars sold well and a lot are still around
Restorer32
You don't have shoes at all or is it just that the linings are worn out?

I was lucky enough to find a place in Arvada, CO that relines all types of brakes for pretty good price (Industrial Brake Reliners)So thanks again for all the information it will be helpful for future cars I buy, I am only 16 and my father and I have limited connections for this type of thing on these cars that I buy.
