Guest RudyLehder
Hello, I recently purchased this car from an Estate and was told that it was a Wayfayer roadster but the wayfarer did not have a rear window or rear seat which this car has? So I am presuming this is a Coronet Convertible, but I cannot confirm on the web as I have yet to find one with the exact same rear end that my car has? I have additional pictures if someone can help me identify my car I would greatly appreciate it.Thank you,Rudy
keiser31
It is one of 1,800 Coronet convertibles built in 1950. Definitely not a Wayfarer.

c49er
It seems there are more roadsters to be found than the Coronet ragtops these days! That Coronet convert is a nice looking car too!
Rusty_OToole
Very rare, and a much nicer (more expensive) car than the Wayfarer.
Guest RudyLehder
Very rare, and a much nicer (more expensive) car than the Wayfarer.I have a question guys? I am going to replace the tires- should I go with a 2.5 white wall or keep it small? This Dodge is 100% original.thanks
Rusty_OToole
Wide whitewalls would be correct for that car. A convertible would be the kind of car that would have been equipped with whitewalls when new. The more modern skinny whitewalls look chintzy and out of place on that car. alsancle
Never go with whitewalls. There are a couple of different black wall radials now that are dimensionally and tread correct for the original bias ply.

c49er
Never go with whiitewalls? That only goes for 131 Fiats. Not a 1950 Coronet ragtop.
Rusty_OToole
Rock the gangster whitewalls.
