filbily
nice car-but---i thought the 49 olds was considered the first muscle car because of its modern overhead valve V8?
Marty Roth
Filbily - The 1936 Buick Century is considered the first Muscle Car - big Overhead Valve Straight-Eight 320 cubic inch engine from the Roadmaster, in the smaller body of the Special, and designed to goo 100 mph (Hit the Century Mark -- hence the name !!). That is a beautiful Hudson, but no more room in our garage.
