Found: A great little old GM promo film (under 5 minutes) presenting the 1953 GM Motorama. Includes all the cool dream cars from that year: Corvette, Olds Starfire, Buick XP-300, Cadillac LeMans, and more...

Thanks for posting the link. After the 53 finishes you can click on the link of many others, the 1954 is my favorite. In 1954 GM styling really goes forward especially the production cars of Oldsmobile and Buick. Olds and Buick in 1954 are two styling cycles ahead of Pontiac and Chevrolet. You won't be able to get GM styling's "Sweep cut" rear fender styling until 1956 in Chevy and Pontiac won't get it until 1957. The 54 production Olds starfire in the link makes it clear that those cars with that styling were not designed for skirts.

Yes indeed, and the productions grow more outlandish along with the cars. The 1956 Motorama film is especially noted for its weirdness. MCG will be featuring it soon.

Good video, thanks for sharing..

You're more than welcome. I'm thankful to have others to share this stuff with.

I've been a little surprised at the long and lasting response to this video. I thought it was pretty cool, and I'm glad others think so too.
