peecher Posted June 13, 2013 Share Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) It probably was a '38 zephyr as it was common practice to "disguise" the make of the car when used in someone other than the maker of the car ads. The oil companys did it all the time. I think that changed in the '50's? I remember Havoline Oil ads featuring "modified" Lincoln Continentals.
