John Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Items I could identify were all from 40's to the mid 70's, none newer. The molding in the lower right has "Univex 1482941" casting ID and I suspect it might be mid-60's Cadillac; I have no ideas on the others. Thanks for your help!John
keiser31 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 (edited) 1300 item looks to be engine cover trim for a Volkswagen. Bottom left emblem is Mercury. Center item with the castle on it is Volkswagen, lower hood below the handle, I believe. Not certain of the years. Edited June 12, 2013 by keiser31 (see edit history)
Grandpa Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Hi John, The 1300 emblem is from a 1966 VW bug deck lid (1300 cc engine). The VW Wolfsburg Crest badge was used on the hood from 1959 through 1959 VW bugs. Grandpa
Grandpa Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 John, Correction to #3, above (brain failure): The Wolfsburg Crest was used from 1951 through 1959. Grandpa
John Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 Thank you, keiser31 and Grandpa! I was able to ID the other molding as 1965 Cadillac, so case closed.
auburnseeker Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 The gold Mercury badge is for a 1949 I believe. May fit 50 as well.
