Pomeroy41144
Saturday was a sad day for the hobby when Pete Fileca, a BCA member since 1966 (BCA # 65), was found dead in his Calumet City, Illinois, home when he did not show up at Peotone. Pete was a great guy, a good friend and a tremendous help to me, my brother and my father over the past few decades. Pete's 1937 Century was an awesome car. I wish I had a photo. Pete will be missed by his family, friends and fellow antique automobile enthusiasts. JohnD1956
Always a sad thing to hear of a member's demise. Interesting that he was # 65 in the Club. Since the club started on the west coast being # 65 from a central state screams BUICKMAN to me! Our condolences to his family and friends. MrEarl
If you speak with his family, please let them know the BCA members have them and Pete in their thoughts and prayers. I would love to see that 37 Century, hopefully you can round up a picture of it and possibly of Pete too. Thanks for passing this on. God's speed to Pete.
