Ben Bruce aka First Born
Sorry for that big word. Came from a fellow in GA. Yep, I did buy another BUICK!! Flew to FL and drove it home. VIA a certain farm in GA. But the farmer wouldn't let me take too many pictures.1994 Estate Wagon Guess who? The tranny lasted until about 100 miles from home. Darn, there went the good buy. Now not a good buy, just not bad. Very clean inside . Runs and drives like a dream. Should last a long while. AC not as cold and hard as I would like. Hey Mike , ever instal Vintage Air in an Estate wagon?? 37 degree air looks good. Ben
Fr. Buick
If I were Lamar, I would have kept that one... The trans will not be a problem, they made a ton of 4L60Es. Go to the Impala SS Forum, there will be plenty of help there. I drive a '96 Impala, basically the same mechanics as yours, but with less interior air-space. My AC at best is OK. With a wagon, I should think there is some frustration. Hang in, they are a great car. The last of the GM, body-on-frame, V-8 and rear-wheel-drive - the way nature and Nature's God designed it!! By the looks of the trim, yours is in nice shape!
Fr. Buick
Oh, if you are close, try Carolina Performance Transmissions. Tell him Fr. Buick sent you.

Benno I think what Father Buick meant was Lamar should have kept the Buick and bought you a bus ticket rest of the way back home. Very nice wagon, I still think you got a deal, now you never have to worry about that tranny, kinda like buying a warranty with the car.Got any pics of that nice engine bay. If not, I do, want me to post them? I really like it.

JohnD1956
I doubt Ben's 50 would be comfortable on a trailer!Probably not, but I bet Ben would be more comfortable behind the A/C outlets in the Roadmaster.
