R.White
Hello bmw1980. Welcome to the forum. If the car is in Russia it will probably be quite difficult to restore. If you do want to try and restore it you can get some parts from Myers Early Dodge and Romar in the U.S.A. Someone else may be able to help you with the information you want regarding the Amsterdam plate. That is unusual.Ray.

Chrycoman
The car was either assembled in Amsterdam (CKD from Detroit) or imported complete. Either way, the plate was added by the Dutch Dodge importer/distributor. The plate with "D2 50709 TSA" is the body number. "TSA" is for "Touring Sedan" A total of 74,203 4dr touring sedans were built in Detroit and Windsor combined. The engine number is D2 243749 while the serial number is, I suspect, (4)247349. Normally the serial number was stamped on a plate attatched the right hand front door hinge pillar. The tag above it was stencilled in red with "Manufactured by Dodge Division Chrysler Corporation Detroit Michigan" and the Dodge Brothers emblem. "82" is the engine bore (82.5) in mm while 111 is the stroke for 3570cc. That is the regular production 4.25"x4.375" engine, 217.8-cid which wil make things easier to find engine parts. Chrysler also offered a small bore (79.5 mm or 2-7/8") engine. Not sure where to get parts in Europe. Hopefully some of our British Chrysler fans can help out there. Dodgenz
I have used Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts in the USA. Home | Andy Bernbaum Auto Parts for Chrysler's cars from 30's to 70's - but not sure if it is easy to send things to Russia. I imagine it is easier these days. Good luck with your car! R.White
Hello bmw1980. You ask if there is any experience in manufacturing "replica" in the forum. There are a number of forum contributors who prefer to develop their cars with modern engines and other parts instead of original. You are not on your own. If you have any difficulties with your restoration please ask. We will try to help.Ray.

Guest DodgeKCL
Could you give us a different word than 'replica'. Don't exactly understand what you mean. BTW it looks quite restorable from here. (CANADA)
Ian_Greenlaw
Hi there,In your first post, the manufacturers plate in the second photo ( suppose to be red colour ) I've attached a photo of it.The smaller oval shaped one is just steel and painted black after the number was stamped in it.The Serial Number plate I've attached a photo of mine so you can see what it looks like.I sell the Red ones if your interested.
