Guest Robertbob
Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone has information on wood patterns for the old Buick's? Like many I see the metal on this car is very nice and just needs a few new tree limbs. Recycling a car that was built 40 years before I was. Hmmm, how green can one get? Guest 39Time
Is it just patterns you are looking for? Are you going to to the work yourself, or were you looking for a restoration service? If you are looking to outsource, or maybe just to look at the wood graining to get some ideas, I've added a few links that may (or may not) be helpful:woodgrainingWood GrainingHope this helps! Mark Shaw
I don't know of anyone making replacement wood kits or patterns for Buicks. I suggest you try to find another BCA member who has restored the same car and see if the original wood was kept for patterns.
Guest Robertbob
Thanks. That is my hope, to find someone who has been there. Need a few other parts as well, mainly radiator shell and lights.
50jetback
You need to let us know the year, model and body style you have!!There are certainly people on this forum who have replaced woodwork but details from a veteran will be vastly different to those made up to the mid 30's and body styles are different within the same year.
