Guest vacabill
I have a 32 olds, some people said it does not look like an Olds trans.and freewheeling unit. They thought maybe Buick or Cadillac, so if anyone can identify it, let me know. when i got the car, it was in it and it worked, also it appears as if the case has been welded. Guest Bob Call
vacabillI have a trans and and extra top cover/shifter that looks exactly like the top cover/shifter on your trans. The guy that gave it to me said it was 30's Olds. Chances are yours is Olds but may be later than 32.

Guest vacabill
took some more pics, it has a date on the transmission of 12-12-32 and another number, and it looks like a buick logo on it, not for sure
Guest
The emblem matches the emblems cast into the sides of my engine block and on the cylinder heads. Very similar to the Oakland emblem. However Pontiac transmissions had a Chevrolet case at least up until 31. Also the transmission did not have ears. It was mounted to the bellhousing from the inside.
