Have you taken yours apart, cleaned and re-oiled... The paddle-dingus is usually just dried up, the oil has turned to wax. I can't remember if GM's had felt or neoprene blades, but can be repaired easily... I got rid of mine, and use an electric motor. As I dismember, I used a needle-nose vice-grips to get the special bolts out that Trico used, really easy to do...

Well that depends: do you have a reverse-impeder that runs anti-clockwise? To determine this you need to check to see if you have a gonkulator or a phlamuktomiser, they look the same on the outside, but the gonkulator has a franastan, and those run clock-wise...

Ficken IS WiperMan.COM - Wipers, Wipers, Wipers just to alleviate any confusion.

He actually has many parts (especially paddles) that we don't have access to. Sometimes lubing everything up and installing new (homemade) gaskets (installed with sealer) will do the trick. I run about 50/50 going that route. The paddle is the only unknown. Everything else can be fixed by a home mechanic easily.

You know if you change the bearings, ya gotta change the belts too:p They're pentbubulated, for didactic-cohesion--what you don't believe me...
