15sd
Can anyone recommend a supplier of car covers for brass era cars that actually fit the shape of the vehicle?
Seldenguy
Google "custom made car covers" there are several that supply this service. --Bob
Mark Shaw
California Car Covers does a nice job. But, I also use an inexpensive BUDGE car cover from Walmart just to keep the dust off my 12 Buick roadster.
15sd
Thanks Mark. I've sent them dimensions. They recommend "Superweave" which is quite thin. Any thoughts on cover thickness? (the UV thing isn't much of an issue since it will be almost always indoors)
Povertycove
I use a cover from one of the discount parts stores, with dimensions for a large SUV, and it fits my 1915 touring car so well that most folks at a national convention thought it was custom made. Cost under $50, and worked well in light rain and in dusty conditions ( otherwise it would remain in its trailer.)
15sd
Thank you povertycove for the suv cover tip. I'll look into that to cover my other early car (Model T) for indoor use.
