Guest iprainwater Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I have a glass Trico Automatic Windshield Washer jar with the GM Accessories logo on it. I don't know anything about it. I have looked around online, but every post I have seen about it had pictures that looked different than mine. So I have posted pictures on here hoping someone could help me find out more information about it. I found it in my cellar-like basement, so it is pretty filthy. But seems to be not broken at least. Thanks for any help!
30 Hupp Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Was it the glass jar that looked different? If so, maybe someone broke the original & replaced it with another jar.?
Guest iprainwater Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Yeah, the jar looks different than most of the other pictures. I thought it might have been a replacement, but I wanted to ask anyone who knows more about cars than I do. Wanted to see if I could place the time-frame it was used and any other info about it. And if anyone would have an interest or if its just trash.
Dave Mellor NJ Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I had one from a 51 Hudson. It would be in that era.
28 Chrysler Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 The jar looks similar to the honey jars form the 40's, 50's.In the upper mid west the jars would very often freeze and break.
