Barney Eaton Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 The Reatta Division recently succesfully implementing the transfer of the first Reatta convertible prototype to the San Diego Automobile museum. This convertible was made from a early production 1988 Reatta coupe by Buick engineering. It was then used at auto shows and for studies for the eventual 1990 production Reatta convertibles. This was a running vehicle at one time. The San Diego museum would like to get it running for easy movement. My contact claims that none of the volunteer mechanics they have know anything about late cars (most likely they just want to work on classics) so he is looking for assistance on the Reatta. If you live in the San Diago area and would be willing to donate some time to making this Reatta run, contact me and I will get you in touch with the right person at the museum. The museum is reliant on donated time and money and without one or the other they may never get the Reatta on display.
