Guest frogbert Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 For right now I'm looking for a tail light reflector. Do you have one if so how much? Jeff, do you know if the antenna goes all the way down flush with the fender or stays up a bit? Mine sticks up about 4". Also do you know how to get to the bulbs in the back courtesy lights?Thank, Kev
Bleach Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That's a real score on that manual. If they're the round ones in the "C" pillars, the covers on the courtesy lights come off by gently prying them out of their bases. They're probably really brittle so extreme care should used.
Guest frogbert Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Thanks Bleach that worked. My light covers are plane and one was already cracked. Gonna have to make a trip to the junk yard in a week or two to get more parts if not taken already.kev
Guest WillingtonCadillac Posted May 21, 2013 Posted May 21, 2013 The cord and mechanism which runs it up and down needs rebuilding after 50 years. Yes, it should be flush. You could run it all the way up and see if there are any waves or bends in it. Gently and firmly bend it straight, lube with WD-40 on a cloth and see if that makes a difference. I should have a reflector. Write me directly Jeff@WillingtonCadillac.com in CTFor right now I'm looking for a tail light reflector. Do you have one if so how much?
