Old Transmission jack? Need help figuring out exactly what this is.

Hello. I am wondering if anyone knows what this is exactly and about how old it might be? My mom dug it out of some bushes about 15 years ago. It is believed to be a old transmission jack. Thanks for the help.

My guess is it's the base to a tilting hospital table, based on the somewhat fancy feet.
