Postwar fender skirts

My widow neighbor has asked me to identify these fender skirts. They've been hanging up in her shed forever. Her husband was a collector, but she doesn't remember all the different cars he had. While he had several postwar collector cars, the only one she can remember is the one that is currently in her garage, a 1957 Thunderbird. They don't appear to be for that car.

Any ideas? She gives me relatively cheap winter storage for my Packard, so i'd like to help her out.
