Guest Mychevrolets
This 1928 Chevrolet AB National Coupe is a survivor in original unrestored condition with less than 39,000 miles. Arthur F Wider previously owned this coupe since 1948. Arthur was a historian (member HAMB) who assisted scores of enthusiasts to achieve accuracy when restoring Vintage Chevrolets. The engine compartment is tidy with original 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission, and rear end serviced with Thurban Sae 250. Body/bumpers/paint/patina /wheels/interior/floorboards/wood steering wheel/headliner/rear window shade/ are original and a working 1930’s New Haven pull string rear view mirror clock. Correct 6-volt electrical generator system charging 10 amps at idle that maintains the new Willard battery. Depress the starter switch and engine fires right up or go hardcore by hand cranking. Engine pulls smoothly from 15 miles per hour in 3rd gear. Restored vacuum fuel delivery system and brass bowl Carter carburetor with new internal fuel screen allow engine to idle evenly. Lead and isopropyl additives are always used and fuel tank cleaned plus an inline fuel filter has been installed discreetly at the tank. All new Bridgestone Silvertown tires/ tubes/tube liners and new brakes installed at each corner. My car is in excellent reliable running condition and ready to drive. I will include a Chevrolet “Boyce Moto Meter” radiator cap, asking $11,999 OBO. Contact Larry at (516) 816-0206 and I will be happy to send pictures by email and will post some in forum by Mychevrolets.
