doity
I am moving to a Condo next weekend. It has a garage and a extra parking spot plus there is adequate room for a car on the driveway down to the garage. The garage is on the bottom level of a 3 level townhome and the driveway is very steep. Not sure of the angle, but to make matters worse there is a lot of moss (I live in Oregon) and the driveway is a cobblestone kind of surface.I used to live in the unit next door and remember having a heck of a time parking on the slope. The wheels tend to spin and I am afraid if I park there I will eventually have a run in with the garage door! There is adequate off-street parking but hardly anyone else parks there and I have a extra car (my work vehicle) so I would have 2 cars parked on the street if I didn't use the driveway (my girlfriend has the main parking spot) which is a through street but quiet. Is there any tips to parking in such a situation? The picture attached is the driveway but it does not really show how treacherous it really is. Would backing in help since the Reatta is front wheel drive? Guest Corvanti
use a pressure washer to remove the moss. if it's still slick, go to a "Lowe/Depot" store and get some clear traction material usually used for outside stairs. goes on like paint...
