Runs on less than all 8, has good compression on all cylinders, new plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor, any ideas. Thanks.

Check for intake manifold or vac leaks.

Check for a worn/wobbly distributor shaft, too. You might look at the new cap inside and see if you can tell which one is not firing. Sometimes new plug wires can be defective.....as well as caps. Did you get a new condenser, too?

I did not get a new condenser, I will try that and check for vac leaks also, thanks.

Did you lay the plugs on the head while cranking to see if all were sparking?
