'40 Special Oil Pressure line fittings

Having to replace the oil pressure line to the gauge but can not find a line fitting that will mate with the back of the gauge? The other end can be changed over to something else but the gauge would seem to mandate the old type fitting. Anybody know where the old fittings might be available or have a solution?

Well, when I posted my question about the fittings I had already checked a few parts houses, including my local NAPA, and was told the were no longer available. However, when I was across town I checked another NAPA and found that they had a few left so was able to get them and make up the line. NAPA says they don't plan on restocking the parts since there is little demand anymore!

Glad you found them, George. Maybe you should buy all they have and corner the market!

I bought 5 and left them with 1! Parts houses just aren't what they used to be---I happened on a long time employee who said she knew what they were and where the remainder of the stock was located and found the 6 they had!
