These photos belong to the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum and were shared without permission over on the HAMB forum (I already talked to Eddie about it and thought he pulled them down), but they can stay here as long as you wander over to our blog to read about the guy driving these Ts. Crazy story there about that top photo. You can't tell in the lower one, but the axles of the Ford were cut down so the skis and tires would fit in the sleigh tracks along the Fairbanks-Valdez Trail.

I am sorry if I did something wrong and I'm glad to have your permission to leave it. I have found the Hamb site easy to copy and paste pictures. I always try to give credit but the HAMB posters probably get their pics from uncredited sources and others may take them from these posts. Many of the best pictures have no restrictions, I got permission from "The Old Motor" site to use pics with credit but frankly they are hard to move. I'm sure Ester Eddie meant no harm but I understand your rights of ownership to these and possibly others. They are great pictures and thanks for the blog.

If thay hadn't been posted on the HAMB we wouldn't get to see them here, but I understand your point Nancy. I wouldn't have known anout your blog either, nice to see you have on of the Fordson Snow Cats on loan. That period video that was on the internet a few years ago was most interesting to watch. The above photo of the T is Torpedo bodied, modified because a touring body couldn't fit the narrowed axles easily. In stock form ther was a large gas tank behind the seat, the body sits lower than a touring and there isn't room under the seat, that is why the tank is mounted over the hood. I think Rootleib makes a reproduction of this body...........a replica would make a nice addition to the collection. Bob

We're happy to let photos be shared if they don't have restrictions from our sources, but it's nice to get credited with a link back. So, if you see other photos on the blog or our Facebook page you want to share, please ask away.

Bob, thanks for the info on the torpedo body. Bobby Sheldon says he put the gas tank on the hood because then he didn't have to go up steep hills backwards to keep the gas flowing to the carburetor. I sure wish he was still alive so I could interview him. He was quite a character!
