Matt Harwood Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Typically on older gearboxes, there's a drain plug on the bottom and a fill plug on the side. In most cases, you simply fill through the side plug until the oil runs out through the hole. It's usually around 2 quarts, but it varies from car to car.
