What year motor do I have????

I have a 1956 Buick model 46R. I recently had my Carb rebuilt and found out the carb was for a 1958 Buick. I'm not sure if someone switched motors or not. I know it should be a 322 cu in. The carb was actually for a 364 cu in. I found a number stamped on the block on the left hand side above the exhaust manifold and just below the center of the head. That number is 19744424. Can someone tell me if this is the correct motor?

1974442 = sequential number unique to engine, starting at 1460023 for 1956

4 = Series 40 (Special)

So it should be a 322 from a 1956 Special.

Thank you Sean. Most likely someone put a 58 carb on at one time. Runs good though!!!
