Need help ID'ing an early touring body

Recommended Posts

I know it's a long shot but just wondering if anybody has a clue as to the make. It is mostly wood with metal skin on doors and in between the doors. The original color was what looks to be royal blue with a light blue pinstripe, probably a mid size car. Would love to buy a chassis for it but may put it up for sale too, would save a ton of work. It did have front doors and I'm guessing it's around 1912. Thanks for looking, Neil

Body has been sold and is going on a 1910 vintage car, the victim of a fire

As it turns out the body is for a 1911 Warren-Detroit. Which is lucky because I have one whose body was burn up in a fire. ;-)

I am so happy to read this update; it's great that the body is going onto a car. I looked at that body at the Portland swap meet; the seller told me that he wanted to cut in in half and make a porch swing out of it! He didn't know what it was but he thought it was from about 1929 lol
