allfords2737
I have had this seat assembly stored for many years. It was apparently right hand drive, with a door on the left side. The leather is still nice and flexible. What car do you think it was made for?
trimacar
Very nice seat, it's going to be hard to positively identify unless someone has the exact car. Front doors were first becoming common in 1911, so it's probably of the 1911-1913 era. It's obviously the front seat of a touring car, you can see where rear door latches would be and a robe rail mounting. Also, the holes in the right side outer skin may have been for a horn bulb mount, and a "fake" door would have been on that side also due to shift and brake levers, so as you say right hand drive. Very nice original button tufting. No cushions I assume.Interesting seat, thanks for posting pictures!
