Guest mindless06795 Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone. Joined to see if I can get a placement on this part. My dad had a car dealership as I was growing up and collected many parts. Trying to unload some and came across this one. I know it comes from a Riviera, but not sure what the part is and what year. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. There is a number on the back: 1387672 Edited March 30, 2013 by mindless06795 (see edit history)

JZRIV Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Excellent. Thank you. any idea on what it is worth for when I sell it? Thank youIs it NOS (New Old Stock as in never installed on car) or excellent used? Are there any defects at all? Hard to say what it would go for as ones that nice rarely come up for sale so there is nothing to compare to. Usually if you take the price of what the cost is to do a high quality refinish/replating on one, that gets you in the ball park as far as price. To do a high quality refinish on that part assuming normal aging and dulled chrome with no pitting would run somewhere around $200 +/- $50 As much as I hate to say it if getting the most money is priority thats a perfect candidate for ebay because the market dictates the price. If you don't want to do ebay post it first on the Riviera Owners Association forum of this site. I believe the posting rules say you should post a price when advertising but you can go high (but not outrageous) and ad that you really don't know what the value is and will accept the best offer. There are others who probably have a better idea on 69 parts. If it were mine I'd probably start around $200-$250 but again this is just one opinion. You could also post it in the V8Buick.com Parts for sale forum.
