Leif Holmberg
Could this be early Locomobiles,my thought is the left is a gasoline car with the cooler in front, and the next 2 could be steam cars???? Of course I can be totaly wrong too.Leif in Sweden
oldcarfudd
Probably all three are steamers. Look under the first and last cars. A wheel is partly hidden - possibly behind a puff of steam?Gil Fitzhugh, Morristown, NJ
Dave Mellor NJ
I agree with Leif a bout the last car in the row being gas with the radiator. The first two look like the same car. Looks like Russia with those hats.

Vintman
Hi Leif, My recent searches suggest this is a cca 1900/01 Locomobile Locosurrey of which there are a couple on our help pages 15 and 27 etc, and the Locomobile on 56. The last car is also probably a Locomobile but is fitted with a condenser. Condensers were obligatory when the cars were exported to the UK so would have been available locally too. All the cars have the same D type front axle but longitudinal springs. The last car has a Dos-a-Dos body.RegardsVintman (UK)www.svvs.org Edited March 29, 2013 by Vintman (see edit history)
