Guest yamahondarider
Well my 1952 Dodge Coronet 4 door doesn't have seat belts front or rear. While I believe the giant steering wheel will firmly keep me from going out the window I still think their a good idea. I can mount the outside part that comes over the edge (door size) of the bench seat just fine BUT theres no gap between the cushions that exits at the back of the seat, for me to go through with the buckle. How can I put seat belts in this thing? Any tips? My upholstry is about perfect and has no rips or missing panels so Theres not any holes to slip it through

Well, its Yamaha, Honda, and Rider. I ride dirt bikes. I also buy, fix, and sell em, so I usually have a few of each brand around. Mainly Yamahas and Hondas, but I just bought myself a Kawasaki KX 250F as my new bike and I've got a KTM 300 EXC so I guess my username is a little off.BTW, Found a guy local with a free van rear seat with lap belts, so I'm gonna pick that up yank the belts off it and probably give away the van seat. I found some points on the seat frame to mount the belts...
Guest MidTNDawg
I rode dirt bikes several years to include motorcross (the real thing not stadium), enduro of the 80-120 mile variety, and hare scrambles, but gave it up after age 60. Still ride the road with over 600,000 miles there. Coulda been a M/C bum so easily. LOL. I have seen many hybrids and thought that was what you had. Anyway, ride safr. Guest MidTNDawg
Partly right. Mostly 125 YZ's with some YZ 250's. Also Bultaco if you can go back that far. Never really liked the right-side shifter though, but I did like the Bultaco for enduro.

I'm just assuming that it is a bench seat. Could you post a picture of it? Thank's, Scott...
