Guest Steam6 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 What are the two tone paint options for a 1948 Chevrolet? I can't find any information on the combinations. Pictures of the paint scheme would be great. 1942-47 schemes would also be great (please note what year they are though). Thanks.
john2dameron Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I think the only Chevrolets I have ever seen from the years from 1942 through 1948 with two-tone paint were Aeroback sedans. They had a lighter shade on the lower part of the car and a darker color on the roof including the trunk lid. Back at the time, two-tone green was the most popular, followed by two-tone blue and tan and brown in that order. The majority of these solid color cars like the other Chevrolet models of the time.
