I think it is safe to say most of us just rebuild our old ones or have some one rebuild them for us. If you check in Hemmings you will find a lot of rebuilders. Many auto parts stores offer rebuilding services. Frequently most areas also have small shops that can do the work. I did have Bob's rebuild my solenoid as the shop I use for starters and generators doesn't do solenoids. This is of course assuming you have a core. Good luck.
