49_buick_super
Headed to work this morning, listening to music of the '40s on Sirius-XM. There was a catchy instrumental playing and I glanced at the song title - it was "DYNAFLOW". Did a little research on it and it would seem that it was a song composed sometime between 1945 and 1948 by a jazz trumpeter named Ray Wetzel, played with the Stan Kenton orchestra.Someone actually uploaded this piece to YouTube in February 2012 with a photo of the vinyl record label. Listen to it here: Dan

Bhigdog
Simon & Garfunkle did a song about it a few years back. It's titled Slip Sliding Away. A couple of lines from the song below....................BobSlip sliding away, slip sliding away You know the nearer your destination, the more you slip sliding away
avgwarhawk
I have over 400 songs from the 40's and 50's that I play on a mp3 player I have in the Buick. Stan is not one of them. I think Stan just made my every growing thumb drive of 54 Buick cruising music!
