DavidAU
I thought some of you may be interested in this. I wish it would get into my shed but I haven't got a Fairy Godmother.1954 F1 Mercedes 'to fetch £5m' - MSN News UK

auburnseeker
These are the barn finds we dream of. All I find are rusted out 60's-70's 4 door sedans with 6 cylinder engines or a few rusted broken parts they forgot to take to the junkyard when they scrapped the carcass. Oh well I'll keep dreaming. Who knows, maybe someday.

MarrsCars
That car is vastly undervalued I believe. I would not be surprised to see it become a true record breaking automobile.
mercer09
I am interested in buying it, but the plaid seat cover just has to go!
jeff_a
I read the piece but don't think they said where it was found. Does anybody know? It's not that I'm going to buy the car, I was just curious. No doors, no fenders, no top: good luck licensing it!

I'm a bit tired of those who oversell the "barn find" aspect of these cars, they stand on their own merits.
