Barn Find Mercedes

I read the piece but don't think they said where it was found. Does anybody know?

It's not that I'm going to buy the car, I was just curious. No doors, no fenders, no top: good luck licensing it!

The auction house paints a picture of this being hidden away in a warehouse for several decades but in fact the car has made appearances throughout this time and the MB Classic Center has verified that this vehicle was not, in fact, hidden away but simply in private storage and seldom exhibited. I'm a bit tired of those who oversell the "barn find" aspect of these cars, they stand on their own merits.

it may be illegal but it sure would wake up the neighbors with a quick trip around the block at 6 am on a Sunday morning.:):):)

You would be correct (start at 2:40 if the video does not to hear the car in action):
