this is not my car, i'm just helping the car find a new home. seven years ago, a elderly lady in clinton, mo. bought a very nice driver's condition 1953 pontiac chieftain four door sedan, straight eight and dual range hydra-matic trans. windshield sun visor and traffic light viewer, with 76,000 original miles on the odometer. she drove the car around clinton, mo. one time, and decided that she didn't enjoy driving the pontiac due to the car not having power steering. she put the pontiac into storage, and there the car stayed for seven years. the lady passed away last january, and now her son tim wants to sell the car. from what tim tells me, the car will need a new 2E six volt battery. if i had the money, i would have already bought this car for my wife penny. tim is asking $7,000.00 for the car, which is the same price his mother paid seven years ago. tim can be reached at phone # 660-351-0028, thanks for your interest. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor.
