Leif Holmberg
I think it`s an Essex 1927. Leif in Sweden
caddyshack
I agree with Leif. The 27 Essex cowl lights attach at the windshield and the raised reveal strip below the windows is typical of the 27 model year.
Guest TylerJChevy
Thanks for your help!!! Are these cars worth much? I don't want to cut it up if its worth much!
caddyshack
It is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Hudson/Essex club members might be worth contacting. If any members are looking for a project they could let you know an approximate value. Is this just a body, or is the whole car there?Good luck! Guest TylerJChevy
It is just the body, i found several cars the same place as this, none of them had frames.
Woodfiddler
Leif / Skip - So the cowl lights on the 1927 Hudson attached to the cowl, where the cowl lights for the 1927 Essex attached to the windshield - got it! Tylers body shows the mounting brackets in the corner of the windshield making it a 1927 Essex. Was that considered a 5 passenger or a 7 passenger? Thank you all for allowing me to learn more with this "lesson." I do so, love this school!
